After knowing Holly as the charming Piper, I started to look for every information about her and "Charmed". And I felt very surprised when I found out that she had done another TV Show, called "Picket Fences". Probably, for people in USA, this show is well-konwn; but here in Brazil?!...I have never heard...Anyway... "Picket Fences" is about a typical family from North America and their troubles. The family members are: Jimmy Brock (Tom Sketrrit) is the father and also the town's sherrif; his wife Jill (Kathy Baker) who is also a doctor and their 3 children: Kimberly (Holly Marie Combs), Matthew (Justin Shenkaranw) and Zack (Adam Wylie). Others caracters: Carter Pike (Kelly Connell) an invertigator, Douglas Wambaugh (Fyvush Finkel) a lawyer and 2 officers Max (Lauren Holly) and Kenny (Costas Mandylor).

Kimberly is Jimmy's daughter from his first marriage with Lydia (Christine Rose); Kimberly considers Jill her real mother. Throughout the show, wich last 4 years (1992 to 1996), Kim tries to show her parents that she is no longer a child, so she ends in a bunch of conflicts. Kim is the principal caracter and the subjects and problems are always related to her. Her brothers look for her to know more and understand the adults. Kim helps her father to realize that Jill is unhappy with their marriage and she even helps a friend who she thinks is beeing abused by the girls father...

I'm sure Holly did a great job as Kim, just like she does with Piper, and that this caracter was very important for her; I hope she can gets more opportunities to show her work, and appear more often on TV!
